RENSSELAER FALLS – Retired naturalist Bob Wakefield will lead a trip to the Indian Creek Nature Center’s nearby ponds to explore “Aquatic Organisms and Nearby Insects” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 16.
A few nets, trays and guidebooks will be provided for a survey of pond life and any other creatures. Wakefield will point out ways of catching things and discuss ecology and adaptations according to the interests of the group.
