RENSSELAER FALLS — Applewood Orchards (formerly known as Fobare Fruits) will have a grand opening on Saturday, June 10.
The orchards had a soft opening Thursday, May 25, and will be open Thursday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. throughout the summer.
At the grand opening June 10, there will be a special admission price of only $5 per person versus the normal price of $7.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 10:45 a.m.
There will be live music by Rob Larrabee from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and Jaynie Trudell from 2-5 p.m.
K&M French Face Painting will be offered from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The kitchen and bakery will be open as well as Parkers Chuck Wagon with barbecue.
The orchards will feature a brand new 74-foot inflatable obstacle course, and a barnyard sports zone.
In the fall the orchards offer u-pick apples, a large pumpkin patch, a corn maze to get lost in, wagon rides and more.
