NORFOLK — The American Legion Riders of Post 925 in Norfolk will host its 17th annual motorcycle charity ride on Saturday, July 9.
Proceeds of the 2022 Ride will go to the Americans Supporting Armed Services (ASAS) in Potsdam to help them continue to advocate for more resources and help for veterans afflicted by burn pit exposure.
The ride will begin at the Norfolk American Legion Post located at State Route 56 and High Street in Norfolk.
All riders will depart from the post and later return to the post for an “end of the ride” meal and festivities.
There will be several stops at local veterans’ organizations.
Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with kickstands up afterwards.
The Legion Riders are well known and respected for their family friendly safe rides.
After the ride, there will be raffles, 50-50, and a poker hand, as well as prizes.
As usual, there will be the famous tavern ham and salt potato buffet dinner at the end of the ride.
Donation is $20 per bike or $10 for just the dinner.
