American Kang Duk Won Karate classes throughout St. Lawrence County are starting for adults and youth in Gouverneur (Tuesday, 6 p.m.), Canton (6 p.m.), Ogdensburg-Heuvelton (Wednesday, 6 p.m.), Madrid (Thursday, 6 p.m.), and Norwood (Tuesday. 5:30 and 6:45 p.m.). Weekly disciplined lessons include cardio workout, self-defense, strength, balance, and coordination with an empowering emphasis on personal safety.
American Kang Duk Won Karate has offered community and educational programs regionally for over 40 years. Workouts are respectful and invigorating, the organization says.
