POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam will host productions of four short dramatic works this spring for the College's 42nd Annual Festival of One-Act Plays.
The 2011 Festival features performances at 7:30 p.m. nightly, from Tuesday to Saturday, April 26 to 30, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
There are two programs with two performances in each.
All plays will be presented in the Black Box Theatre, in Satterlee Hall. There will be post-show discussions with the directors, and members of the SUNY Potsdam Philosophy Forum.
Program A will open the festival with a special one-man comedy senior project, "A Comedic Address from Andrew Langton." Immediately following is a production about taboos entitled "Free," by Craig Pospisil.
Program B consists of two productions, opening with "We Had a Very Good Time" written by David Auburn and directed by senior Tilly Adams. Faculty member Kimberley A. Bouchard will direct the second one-act play of the evening, "The Winged Man" by Jose Rivera.
All productions are open to the public, with donations accepted. For further information, call 267-3394 or e-mail ddtix@potsdam.edu.
