LISBON – A saddle and tack fitting clinic from 4-H will be held at Raindrop Hill Farm, 1806 CR 28, Lisbon, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25.
Proper fitting saddles and tack are very important for the comfort of both the horse and rider, helping to ensure a positive and comfortable ride.
Judy Boyer, owner and operator of Raindrop Hill Farm and the leader of the Raindrop Roundup 4-H Club, leads the group in the identification of English and Western Tack.
Joan Carlisle, owner and operator of Sunnybrook Farm, Ogdensburg, will demonstrate and discuss the proper fitting of saddles and tack.
There is no fee for 4-H members. The fee for all others is $3. Pre-registration is required by calling the Cornell Cooperative Extension office at 379-9192.
