MASSENA – The Emmanuel Congregational Church, 39 W. Orvis St., will be showing a classic silent horror film with live creepy organ music provided by James Phillips at its Halloween event Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
Phillips will play some of the scariest music ever written for the overture, and then he will accompany the 1922 “Nosferatu,” the original vampire movie.
Popcorn will be available, prizes will be given for the best costumes, and a silent auction will be held.
A free will offering will be taken at the door with the proceeds going to the fire department to purchase smoke detectors.
