CANTON – The St. Lawrence University Cross Country and Track & Field Program hosts the 12th annual “Fastest Kid in the North Country” competition Saturday, Dec. 14 at Newell Field House.
Track races will be held for ages 2-6 (60 Meter Dash) and 7-10 (200 Meter Dash).
Participants may register for the competition from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. that morning. The races are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
A cash donation or a non-perishable food item is requested from each participant. All proceeds will benefit the Canton Church and Community Programs.
Awards will be presented immediately following the final race of each age group, with champions earning the title “Fastest Kid in the North Country!”
Candy canes will be given out to all participants.
