Leeland Cobb, Heuvelton, has fun cooking out at the 4-H campfire display at the North Country Kids Expo Saturday in SUNY Canton’s Roos Athletic Center.The 4-H display also featured a tent for children to explore. He was one of hundreds of children who attended.The expo had many other play zones, demonstrations, and vendors, sponsored by St. Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. NCNow photo by Cheryl Shumway.

POTSDAM – A benefit basketball game, Cops For Cures vs. Potsdam Faculty is set for March 21 at the Potsdam Central School gym. Local New York State Police will be taking on the Potsdam faculty and staff on the basketball court starting at 7 p.m. The event will benefit the Jonathon Thompson Scholarship Fund.
