Lisa S. Lyman and Gordon D. Nehm, both of Potsdam, recently got engaged.
Lisa is the daughter of Susan M. Lyman of Potsdam.
Gordon is the son of Gordon D. Nehm of Scottville, Mich. and Mary Carter of League City, Texas.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 Potsdam Central graduate. She received a nursing degree from SUNY Canton in 2012 and is working toward a bachelor's degree in sociology from SUNY Potsdam.
The groom graduated from Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas in 2006. He works as an assistant manager at A-Plus Sunoco in Potsdam.
The couple plans a Sept. 26 wedding.
