Ronald and Kelley Martin of Waddington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Anne Martin to Michael Scott Baxter, both of Waddington.

Michael is the son of Irving and Beth Baxter of West Potsdam.

Kari is a 2007 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School and will be graduating in December of 2010 from SUNY Potsdam with bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education.

Michael is a 2006 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School and a 2008 graduate of SUNY Canton with an associate’s degree in HVAC. He is employed by Time Warner Cable.

A June 2011 wedding is planned.
