Carrie R. McAllister and Erwin E. Zahler III of Potsdam are engaged to be married.
Carrie is the daughter of Allan and Judy McAllister of Gouverneur. She is a 2005 graduate of Gouverneur Senior High School. She works at Walmart.
Erwin is the son of Erwin and Linda Zahler of Hopkinton. He is a 2002 graduate of Parishville Hopkinton Central School. He works at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The wedding is planned for the fall of 2014.
