Bethany Davis and Steven Booth of Massena are engaged and planning an Oct. 6 wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dawn Davis of North Bangor and Tom and Jeri Davis of San Diego, Calif.
The groom-to-be is the son of Karl and Betty Booth of Massena.
Bethany is a fourth grade teacher at Nightengale Elementary School. She is a 2008 Franklin Academy graduate. She received a bachelor of arts in psychology in 2013 and a master of teaching in childhood education in 2014, both from SUNY Potsdam.
Steven is a special education teacher at Massena Central School. He graduted from Massena High School in 2006. He has a bachelor of arts in history and in 2010 he received a master of teaching in adolescent education, both from SUNY Plattsburgh. He also received a graduate certificate in teacher leadership in 2017 and a certificate of advanced study - building leader in 2018. He anticipates receiving a graduate certificate in school district leadership in August.
