Anne L. Conant and Ryan W. Strate, 9 Prospect St., Canton, are engaged to be married April 14, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Karen Conant, 246 Judson Street Rd., Canton. She graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School in 2007 and has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Canton. She is currently employed at Walmart as a cashier.
The groom is the son of Barry and Susan Strate, 9 Prospect St., Canton. He graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School in 2006 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Canton. He is second assistant manager at Canton McDonald’s.
The wedding will be held at the Methodist Church in Canton, performed by Reverend Thomas Jones. The bride will be given in marriage by Roger Conant. The maid of honor is Michelle Fleming; bridesmaids include Jessica Austin and Darcy Taylor. The flower girl is Tiffany Durhan.
The groom’s best man is Joshua Strate, his brother. The groomsmen are Travis Pierce and Will Kahn. Ring bearer is John Gidney.
Tuxedos are from the Carol Lee Shop in Potsdam. The wedding gown is from Alfred Angelo in Syracuse and the bridesmaids dresses are from David’s Bridal in Syracuse.
The reception will be held at Madrid Community Hall. Musician at the reception is Emily Harkins.
