Amanda Lynn Wood and Brian Matthew Deckert, Canton, are engaged to be married September 10, 2011.

Amanda is the daughter of Andrew and Carol Wood, 26B Bridge St., Hermon. She graduated from SUNY Canton with a Bachelors in Administration degree.

Brian is the son of Theodore and Susan Deckert, 1164 Jason Way, West Palm Beach, FL. He graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in Florida and is currently attending SUNY Canton in the Alternative and Renewable Energies Engineering program.

A September 10, 2011 wedding is planned.
