Amanda Lee Hamilton and Kyle Stephen Munson Oemcke are engaged to be married.

Amanda is the daughter of Asa Hamilton of Elbridge, NY and the late Kathryn Hamilton of DeKalb Junction.

Amanda is a 2002 graduate of Hermon-DeKalb Central School. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2008, having studied early childhood education. She earned a master's of literacy education in 2013. She is employed at Edwards-Knox Central School as a pre-kindergarten teacher

Kyle is the son of Jill Alguire of Hermon and Stephen Oemcke of Pennellville, NY.

Kyle is a 2004 graduate of Gouverneur High School. He is employed as a journeyman lineman, IBEW 1249.

The couple plans to wed June 17.
