Scott and Cathy Shoen, 3184 State Hwy. 345, Waddington, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Erin Shoen, to Jeremiah Peter Hardin.

The bride is a graduate of Madrid-Waddington High School, Madrid, and a graduate of SUNY Canton in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design. She is employed as an admissions counselor at Paul Smith's College located in the Adirondack Park.

The groom is a graduate of Burlington High School, Burlington, Mass., and a graduate of SUNY Canton in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Management. He is employed at Carolina Green Energy located in Daniel Island, South Carolina.

The couple plans a July 26, 2014, wedding.
