The GIS Coordinator will manage projects, meet with customers, and support other Engineering and Environmental Division technical projects, as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum position qualifications require the candidate have a Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or certification in GIS is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience developing and maintaining ESRI-based GIS programs and applications and one year of experience overseeing GIS personnel is required. Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases required. Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and to work cooperatively with multiple internal and external customers are required. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS Online, custom web-based mapping applications, and Computerized Maintenance Management software. Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered for positions at other levels (Technician, Specialist, or Analyst).
