POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Town/Gown Committee has announced that Willow Tree Florist and North Country Savings Bank have been chosen as nominees for the 2010 Pride-In-Potsdam award. The Potsdam Food Co-op was chosen as a nominee earlier this year.
Both Willow Tree and North Country Savings were chosen for the work they have done in expanding and remodeling their buildings as well as landscaping.
The Pride-In-Potsdam program is designed to encourage merchants in the village and town to maintain and improve their properties. Each month a business will be added to the nominee list from which a winner will be selected and then announced at the chamber’s annual dinner Nov. 10.
If you think a business is worthy of recognition, contact the chamber office at 274-9000.
