POTSDAM -- The Town of Potsdam has once again set a time and date for a public hearing on its new proposed solar installations code.
The hearing on “Regulation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System” is now set for 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at Town Hall.
And a special meeting will be held immediately following the hearing, presumably to hold a vote on whether or not to accept the new local law, and possibly other matters.
The town is revising the section of the code that applies to solar installations. A July hearing was postponed in order to devise revisions in light of recommendations from the St. Lawrence County Planning Board
