CANTON - The Town of Canton has helped a chiropractor open his doors in Canton.

Utilizing the town’s Revolving Loan Fund, Dr. Tyler Clark, owner of Clark’s Chiropractic & Wellness, secured a $25,000 loan to help launch his business at 3 Remington Ave., Suite 5.

“My vision is to provide the best chiropractic care I can for the people of Canton and the surrounding area. I would like to improve not only their overall health, but would like to keep people out of pain the best I can,” Clark stated.

He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic in July of 2018 from NY Chiropractic College, as well as a Masters in Nutrition completed in April of the same year. Dr. Clark hopes to serve the chiropractic needs of Canton and the surrounding communities, while also offering nutritional consultations, supplements, and orthotic care.

“We are happy to be able to offer gap financing to help entrepreneurs like Tyler. Small businesses make up the largest percentage of our economy, and programs like the Canton Loan Fund are critical in providing the necessary capital for enabling them to startup and expand,” said Leigh Rodriguez, director of economic development.

“This is a good thing. The purpose of this fund is to help small business start up,” said Town Supervisor Mary Ann Ashley. “It’s good for the community as a whole.”

The Town of Canton Revolving Loan Fund is designed to assist small businesses with capital for startups or expansion. Eligible borrowers include private for-profit and not-for-profit business organizations with ten or fewer full-time equivalent employees, and a principal place of business located in the Town of Canton.
