CANTON, NY -- The Sustainable Living Project (SLP) meets Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Canton Fire Department Community Room, 77 Riverside Dr., to plan for the 2011 Local Living Festival.
The festival is scheduled for Sept. 24 and 25, and will feature many workshops, home tours, and educational events.
Wednesday’s gathering will last about an hour, or 90 minutes if participants join the break-out sessions after the meeting.
Those not familiar with the organization are asked to consider arriving 15 minutes early for a brief orientation and snacks. All interested people are welcome.
