CANTON — Schools are in desperate need of workers.
The most needed position is teacher assistant, according to BOCES spokesperson Jenna Thompson.
“We currently have a shortage in our region for Teaching Assistants, SLL BOCES will help with the cost for certification,” she said.
A job fair will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES, 40 West Main St., on Jan. 12.
Applicants are urged to apply if they have a HS diploma or GED, like working with children , and think you may enjoy a career education.
Interviews will be conducted at the job fair.
