POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with Tedra L. Cobb & Associates and the GrasseRoots Fund to offer a five-part board leadership series.
This series is designed for participants to learn and hone their skills, build relationships within their boards and coach each other to build a strong board team.
The interactive trainings will be held once a month, with the first session starting on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley in Potsdam.
The first session, “Communication – The Key Building the Board Team” will cover communication, motivation and morale.
The series will run until June and will cover a variety of topics, including Communication, Strength-Based Leadership, Hiring the Right Leaders, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, and Understanding Financial Obligations.
The Board Leadership Series is open to everyone and costs $25 for St. Lawrence County Chamber Members, and $30 for Non-Chamber-Members.
Pre-registration is required for each session in the series.
