The "Love Local Gift Card Bonanza" is live on the St. Lawrence County Chamber's website, www.ShopSTLC.com on Friday.
People can buy gift cards from about 30 businesses across St. Lawrence County.
“The bonus for the business is that the St. Lawrence County Chamber is matching customer purchases with a mini-grant for their business," chamber executive director Ben Dixon said in an event annoucement.
There is a total of $5,500 available for matching grants, thanks to contributions from the ALCOA Foundation and NBT Bank. Gift card purchases will be promoted and encouraged throughout the month.
The St. Lawrence County Chamber is encouraging everyone to "Love Local" during February, with several promotions and programming to help businesses continue to improve their marketing and operations as the pandemic presents ongoing challenges.
