Slic Network Solutions, the local provider of telephone and high-speed Internet services, has schedule an open house in Knapps Station to share information about its fiber-to-the-home service.
Installations began in the Knapps Station area in mid-October. With many installations still scheduled and more inquiries occurring daily, Slic is inviting current customers and those interested in learning more about to join them between 4 and 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Knapps Station Community Church, 3035 CR 47, Norwood.
Representatives will be available to answer questions and process applications. Fiber maps will be on hand as well as samples of the equipment that is used for a typical residential installation. Slic is also hoping to have a high-speed Internet demonstration available for attendees to try. Refreshments will be served.
Area residents that are not able to attend these events, but have questions, can call Slic Network Solutions' Customer Service by dialing (866) 261-7518 (Option 1) or by visiting www.slic.com. Customers can order services to get an installation date. Installations are now booked nearly four weeks in advance.
