NICHOLVILLE -- A Nicholville man who purchased a lottery ticket at a Hopkinton market has won $60,548.
The New York Lottery says that Thomas Dywan went to Lamphere's Market in Hopkinton and bought a Take Five ticket in the Aug. 21 drawing.
The New York Lottery says revenue from its games is distributed to local school districts by a formula taking into account a district's size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of lottery school funding.
