CANTON – Stephanie Fulton has opened a new hair salon, Nuvo Hair, at 109½ Main St.
An Ogdensburg native, Fulton has returned to the North Country after 12 years as a stylist in Dallas, Texas.
At the shop, under the Blackbird Cafe and across from the village park, she specializes in ethic hair cutting and treatments including relaxers, and colors, cuts, highlights, foils, men’s cuts, fades, tapers and edgeups.
She is the sole stylist right now, but she plans to add another. She does work with a makeup artist who is available for parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
Open hours are Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Call 528-7821.
