A national lending company has put Potsdam at 29th, Ogdensburg at 34th, and Massena at 243rd on a list of the best New York State communities to raise a family.
In Lending Tree.Com’s annual report, the mortgage lending company compared communities across the nation.
Using data from the U.S. Census, the company scored 250 cities, towns and villages in New York State on how they serve young families in their communities. The site used data such as housing costs, home ownership rates, employment statistics and more to give each place a grade.
An earlier erroneous report had put Ogdensburg at 14th.
