POTSDAM — KFC, 119 Maple St., gives back to seniors for Meals on Wheels in St. Lawrence County.

“In an effort to give back to seniors experiencing hunger and isolation amidst the COVID-19 crisis, KFC in Potsdam is partnering with Meals on wheels of St. Lawrence County to provide a chicken meal to 120 to 130 seniors on April 1,” said Kathleen Pike, general manager at KFC.

Pike said Office For the Aging Director Andrea Montgomery was very helpful in assisting KFC with making sure food was picked up and delivered fresh to seniors.

“This donation is part of KFC’s third donation of one million pieces of chicken to America's seniors in the past year, Pike said.

“In 2020, local KFC restaurants donated a total of two million pieces of chicken to help feed thousands of doctors, nurses, first responders, essential workers, and teachers across the country,” she said.
