POTSDAM – Health Services of Northern New York has a new cooking class for their personal care aides so they can share tips and techniques of cooking while in a client’s home.
HSNNY Registered Dietician Beth Morgan worked with clinical nursing staff to develop a program to train a core group of home health aides that then trained aide staff.
HSNNY says the program helped improve their customer satisfaction cooking score by over 30 percent since the beginning of the year.
