CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce monthly webinar “Handshake for Employers” will go live Wednesday, Jan. 8 at noon.
The webinar will be co-presented by SUNY Potsdam's Experiential Education Director Toby White, and Assistant Director, Karen Kus-Misiak, M.Ed.
Handshake is one of the largest recruiting platforms in the country, directing employers right to SUNY Potsdam students and alumni, as well as other colleges and universities in St. Lawrence County. This platform is trending as one of the go-to resources for college recruiting. Handshake is free for employers to use, and allows candidates to directly apply for positions.
In this 30-minute webinar, White and Kus-Misiak will discuss the Handshake platform; showing employers how to create an account and how to start posting Internship opportunities.
The webinar is hosted on Zoom. Register online at bit.ly/HandshakeSTLC, email Mike@slcchamber.org or call 315-386-4000.
The webinar is free thanks to sponsorship from St. Lawrence University and Clarkson University.
