OGDENSBURG – An Ogdensburg-based online “gift can” store is going bricks-and-mortar next month.

Create A Can has been a family owned business since its creation over 10 years ago.

The company has now grown to become a partnership between mother Donna J. Royce and daughter Megan D. Royce.

And now they’re opening a store in the Ogdensburg Mall, 205 Ford St., with a tentative opening date of Nov. 5.

For over 10 years Create A Can has provided an online shopping service at http://www.createacan.net, and will continue to do so.

Now orders can be made online and picked up in the store at your convenience, or they can be shipped to loved ones.

Create A Can has a wide variety of specialty items only available in the new storefront, such as Diaper Cakes, gift baskets for all occasions, Bottle Cap Necklaces, larger candy creations, gifts for the home, and more.

Create A Can offers a free delivery service to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, United Helper’s Nursing home, and St. Joseph’s Nursing home. For everywhere else, there will be a delivery fee.

Their paint can gift basket line is created with brand new, factory made paint cans ranging in size from pint to gallon. With an array of graphics, they make creative and affordable gift containers filled with several kinds of goodies, or empty, so people can fill with items they already have in mind for the gift.
