MADRID -- A large Craft, Food and Wine Open Air Market will take place Saturday, Sept. 26 at the St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum, 1755 NYS Hwy. 345.
The event, sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be required and there will be a $10 parking fee.
Traditionally, the show has been held at Clarkson University or SUNY Potsdam closer to Christmas, but this year it is taking place outdoors due to COVID-19.
Nearly 40 vendors will display and sell jewelry, baked goods, chocolates, hand-made soap, glasswork, local wines, maple products, home décor items, quilts, prints and many other items.
Vendors will include 2 Mama Birds, 3 Bears Gluten Free Bakery, Apothecary Chocolates, Art by Maria, Attagirl Soaps, Balsam Springs Soap, Bella Brooke Vineyards, Canton Apples, Cat House Designs, Chipman Woodworks, Commercial Press, Craft Designs by Doug, Darque Crystal, Designs by Sandy, Em Bears, Eye Candy, Finen Maple Products, Keith Young Knives & Engraving, Link’s Stained Glass, Lionheart Graphics, Loon Flower, Nut Shop International, Ogdensburg Command Performance, Pelican Peace, Purses & Key Chains, Racquette River Designs, Renee’s Crafts, Second Chances, Steven Cobb, SL County Planning, The Gallery at Lake St. Lawrence, Twila Basley Crochet, Vision Glass, Wendy’s Folk Art, Russell, painted signs, rocks, and Whatknots by Liz.
“This may be the only opportunity for a larger size craft show this year,” said Chamber Executive Director Brooke Rouse.
