OGDENSBURG -- Corning Incorporated Foundation is a 2019 sponsor of the Frederic Remington Art Museum’s annual education fundraiser Classic Golf Tournament in Canton Friday.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the museum’s education programming at the Eva Caten Remington Education Center (ECREC.)
The Eva Caten Remington Education Center is at 323 Washington Street, Ogdensburg.
"In changing times, we see education programming as an increasingly important service to the community," says Executive Director Laura Foster, "We are very grateful for Corning Incorporated Foundation's support."
Free play is encouraged in the Education Center's Kid's Place, a built environment with hands-on interactive exhibits and art activities. Most programming is free. The center has expanded its charge with the adoption of the museum's strategic plan. It serves a broader audience of varied ages with new mission-related programming. They are also creating new educational experiences in the museum itself, two doors down from the Education Center.
The Corning Incorporated Foundation is a charitable contributions organization established by Corning Incorporated in 1952, striving to foster vibrant, enriching, and supportive Corning communities.
