POTSDAM – Clarkson University’s University Bookstore at 39 Market St. closes today for renovations and moves up the street in the meantime.
The store’s operations are at 15 Market Street, until Monday, April 9. That is the tentative date set for the renovations to be complete and for business to resume at 39 Market.
Owner Clarkson University and operator Follett Higher Education Group will be undertaking a floor-to-ceiling makeover, with a café with comfortable seating, cherry wood fixtures and custom cabinetry, and redesign of the layout to highlight the selections of textbooks, general reading books, supplies, and Clarkson apparel and gift items in the 4,800-square-foot store. The offerings will include items that are specific to the North Country.
They said it will “enhance the overall shopping experience” for customers.
