POTSDAM -- Clarkson University's Reh Center for Entrepreneurship has started its own coffee brand, Entrepreneur Coffee.
The coffee and its supporting promotional items have been sourced from local businesses, and all profits will be reinvested in local small business development.
The label's signature blend is roasted by St. Lawrence Valley Roasters, owned by Tim Gardner of Lisbon, using beans that are sourced from Fair Trade, USDA Organic and Shade Grown certified suppliers. Entrepreneur Coffee takes an environmentally sustainable approach in their day-to-day business.
The company is student-run, providing the students with experience and a real-world opportunity to apply classroom learning and awareness of challenges faced by regional small businesses.
The coffee is being sold at multiple locations across the Clarkson University campus and will be sold at the University Bookstore in downtown Potsdam this fall.
Businesses interested in carrying Entrepreneur Coffee or advertising opportunities should contact Justin Tremblay at the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship at 268-3978 or itsallgood@clarkson.edu.
