CANTON – Canton-based Atlantic Testing Laboratories has been given the American Council of Independent Laboratories’ “Seal of Excellence” for 2011-2012.
The Seal of Excellence program provides analytical laboratories with a mechanism for evaluating performance.
Those who receive the award have shown their commitment to ensuring integrity of data, quality, and setting standards of performance for the industry. Awardees must show proof of annual ethics training, mechanisms for early detection of questionable practices, and taking client satisfaction surveys.
Since its founding in Canton in 1967, ATL’s services have expanded widely and it has added offices in Albany, Binghamton, Elmira, Plattsburgh, Poughkeepsie, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, and Towanda, Pa.
