CANTON – The Walgreens store on East Main Street in Canton will be closing its doors on March 6.
A sign on the door simply states, “Store closing March 6, 2023. The pharmacy will close at 3 p.m. that day. Prescription records available at all Walgreens including 173 Market Street in Potsdam.”
Formerly a Rite Aid store that did business for many years in the Midtown Plaza in Canton next to the Jubilee supermarket built a new store on East Main Street and opened in 2018. The business operated as a Rite Aid, but soon after changed its name to Walgreens.
