CANTON – SUNY Canton is hosting a Biomass Boot Camp Sept. 17 for business managers and owners interested in using renewable energy.
The Biomass Boot Camp is a focused one-day orientation program for facility owners, managers, financial and business managers and others interested in learning more about the potential of renewable biomass for heating and combined heat and power applications.
At the sessions, people can learn from experts how to make an informed decision on whether biomass heating or combined heat and power warrants further consideration at a facility, business, school, hospital, government building, or community.
The Boot Camp will also have exhibit booths from companies that supply biomass fuels, make biomass heating equipment, and build and finance projects.
Every attendee will receive a specially produced take-away package that includes links to on-line resources, case histories of successful projects and the Biomass Boot Camp Primer that is available exclusively at the Boot Camp.
