CANTON -- Are you a food or farm small business owner wondering what to tackle next when it comes to using social media for marketing your products? Attend an online panel discussion on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This free session is aimed at direct-to-market farmers and food entrepreneurs and gives a look into how other business owners use online networks to connect with customers.

Panelists include farm co-owner Dan Rivera of Triple Green Jade Farm which produces artisanal bread, pastured poultry and houses a micro-dairy, Cori Deans owner of Small Town Cultures, a specialty probiotic-rich vegetable ferments business and co-owner Jessica Bouharevich of White Rainbow Farm a seasonal vegetable CSA, yoga center and event space for special gatherings. In this online panel, attendees will hear stories, tips, and insights when it comes to using Facebook, Instagram and TIKTOK for promoting, branding, and connecting with consumers.

This programming is made possible with funding from the Workforce Development Institute as well as the USDA, as part of Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County’s Growing Resilience Initiative. The event is free and registration is required. For additional information or to register for this online panel, visit the event page at http://stlawrence.cce.cornell.edu/.
