David and Linda (MacCasland) Nelson of Parishville celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 30, 2011.
They are the parents of Robin McDonough, Norfolk, Va.; Jill Roberts, Canton; and Casey and Travis Nelson, both of Potsdam.
The couple was married Oct. 3, 1961 in Potsdam at the United Methodist Church.
David is retired from GM in Massena.
Linda works at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School.
