Donald and Alice Grant celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 26, 2022.
They were married in the Scotch Presbyterian Church in Chipman on May 26, 1962 with Rev. Gertson, the minister at the time, officiating.
Alice is the daughter of Sterling and Ordetta Sharpe of Chipman. Donald is the son of Ronald and Bernice Grant of Potsdam.
They lived in the North Country most of their lives and now reside in the Syracuse area to be near their children and grandchildren.
The couple have three boys, Sterling, Donald Jr. (Donny), and Tom. They have 13 grandchildren with one grandchild dying Feb. 8, 2022 at the age of 37. They also have 18 great-grandchildren.
Donald turned 81 years old on May 25; Alice 79 years old Nov. 12.
