Kelly Maguire, daughter of Daniel and Connie Maguire of Parishville, and Justin MacKinnon, son of William and Miriam MacKinnon of Winthrop, were married on Oct. 4.
Their wedding was at the Crown Plaza Golf House in Lake Placid, where they were married by Justice of the Peace Jim Rogers. The ceremony included processional and recessional music played by a bag piper. Their ceremony included Celtic traditions of hand fasting, wearing of the tartan and gift of the Irish coin.Kelly’s attendants included maid of honor Kristy Devine, friend of the bride, bridesmaids Lauren Cox, Stephanie Cox, Jennifer Bruno and Shelly Thomas, cousins of the bride and Maggie Cook and Megan Haught, friends of the bride.
Justin’s attendants included best men Barry Stone and Timothy Penderghest, friends of the groom, groomsmen Daniel Maguire, brother of the bride, and Lewis Britton and Will Morse, friends of the groom.
Kelly is a 2004 graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. She attended Clarkson University from 2004 to 2011 and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor of science in biology and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2011. She is employed as a travel physical therapist with Reflectx Staffing.
Justin is a 2002 graduate of St. Lawrence Central School and a 2006 graduate of Clarkson University with degrees in political science and technical communications. In 2012, Justin graduated from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse as a doctor of medicine. He is now in his third year of residency in emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center.
They live in Troy with plans to relocate to the North Country after Justin completes his residency, which he anticipates in July.
