MALONE — State police are investigating an accidental death at Titus Mountain Ski Resort Thursday afternoon.
Troopers say Richard P. Finch, 68, Malone, was on ski patrol when an unintentional accident occurred on the chairlifts.
Finch, an employee at Titus Mountain Ski Resort, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Troopers received the call shortly before 3 p.m. following a request from EMS for assistance at the resort on Johnson Road.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Malone EMS and Titus Mountain Ski Patrol assisted on scene, police said.
