Will He or Won’t He
It’s almost time for him to awake.
That rodent of ill gotten fame..
As far as he’s concerned,
The weather is just a game.
He will crawl out of his hole
And look around,
The whole thing is a bore.
Shadow or not,
He will dive back in his hole,
And then you’ll hear him snore.
But what if he doesn’t awake
And stays in his hole until spring?
I guess we would wait as we always do
Because it’s no big thing.

Winter lasts forever.
But that’s okay with me,
I love winter weather.
