The Association meets bi-monthly at different hosting fire stations in St. Lawrence County.
The Heuvelton Fire Department put on a great meal and provided wonderful hospitality.
In the nomination letter from the Heuvelton Fire Department, it states “Overall, Mike is what you want every firefighter to be like. He is always going above and beyond what is expected as a volunteer. He’s always crediting everyone else’s actions and never crediting him even though he’s the one deserving the merit.”
The announcement of the date and time of the celebratory dinner for Hebert will be announced at a later date.
The St. Lawrence County Fire Chiefs Association brings together all interested parties within St. Lawrence County who have a vested interest in fire protection of all communities to include fire departments; all municipal and county governments; with an interest in more effective fire prevention and firefighting.
