MASSENA – Super Saturday tax preparation events are back at selected SeaComm locations.
These tax preparation events provide the opportunity for low and moderate-income working individuals and families to have their income tax returns prepared free of charge.
Eligibility is generally limited to taxpayers with an income under $63,398.
SeaComm, in partnership with Akwesasne and Potsdam Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites, The AARP Tax Aide Program, along with the IRS will host Super Saturday as follows:
IRS-trained volunteers will be on hand to prepare returns for qualified individuals. Financial Service Representatives from the credit union will be available to open accounts, following eligibility requirements, and possibly provide loans for those who are looking for an immediate refund.
Appointments for Super Saturday are required, as walk-ins will not be allowed.
