To the Editor:
I was pleasantly surprised when I recently visited North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The new owners have done a major remodeling of the facility. Under the guidance of Ezzy, the construction supervisor, the facility has been extensively modernized and is bright and welcoming. Staff seem engaged and are very friendly and helpful and genuinely seem to care for the residents.
Rean Enriquez, the newly appointed administrator, was performing tasks not generally expected of an administrator, and when I expressed surprise, he said that he enjoys these functions and helps where needed.
All in all, I was impressed by what I saw and congratulated the new owners for their accomplishment. I hope they can continue to provide a high quality of care in this attractive, clean and welcoming environment.
