PARISHVILLE — Multiple fire departments responded to a garage fire Friday night at 738 State Highway 72.
Potsdam Fire Driver Mark Maroney said Potsdam firefighters were called to the blaze around 11:11 p.m. along with Parishville Fire and Rescue, Colton Fire and County Car 36 responding as well.
Fire and rescue workers battled the cold, along with the fire, Maroney said.
The blaze at the garage was threatening another structure, but the blaze was contained.
Firefighters were together on scene and completed extinguishment and overhaul in the rear of the garage.
“Tanker 100 used roughly 1,300 gallons to extinguish the fire,” Maroney said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
Potsdam Fire was in service at 12:54 a.m., Maroney said.
